How would you sell the Bay Area?

Here’s an interesting question- how would you pitch the Bay Area?

You know, as in sell it?

For example, you could sell NYC Metro because of its world class cuisine, world class cultural events and venues, strong public education (well, Long Island anyway), diversity, low need to drive (especially in the high price gas future!), strong economy, and low crime. I’m sure I’m leaving a bunch of stuff out - and as an exercise you’re more than welcome to add to this.

So, how would you pitch the Bay Area?

How would you convince someone to move here?

Hmm… high tax rate, insane housing prices and bad traffic? Oh wait, that doesn’t sound too enticing :P
You could pitch the mostly nice weather but I think the biggest sell, like it or not, would be possible employment opportunities.

The nice weather is good, but I work 60 hour weeks… of course that’s still better than in NY where it was shown that it tends to rain more on weekends statistically (due to pollution!)

If they’re girls, tell them there’re TONS of men, so they’ll get hit on A LOT and it’s easy to get dates(just don’t tell they probably will not be attracted to most of them ;)
Ok, Seriously, here are the things I like best about Bay Area:
    1) Everything’s close by (within driving distance)
    2) not counting peak hours, not much traffic
    3) Hiking Trails all over the place, regardless of where you live
    4) Diversity. you can have mexican for lunch, chinese dinner, italian and cuban tomorrow, etc…
    5) Friendly people.
    6) SF’s an hr drive away and got lots of great food
    7) you know those internet companies you heard so much about? well, if you move here, you’re bound to meet people who work at those companies 8) weather (for people not from socal)
    9) jobs
