Sprint PCS Info – AT&T: Text Message Email Change
As of April 24, yournumber@mobile.att.net will no longer work. To continue forwarding email messages to your phone, change to yournumber@mmode.com instead. This is due to April 24 being the day that Cingular must hand over the AT&T Wireless name back to AT&T.

ATT@T IS INCORRECT: CINGULAR DOES NOT HAND ANY RIGHTS NOR COMMUNICATION
COMMANDS UNTILL THE YEAR 2023, AND MY REJECT ALL MUST(S) UNTILL SUCH TIME.

I found this page with a google search, it was the top hit, but @mmode.com doesn’t work any more.
Here’s the new solution:
To send SMS text messages to your iPhone or other at&t mobile device, send an email to phonenumber@txt.att.net.
