Airport Car Service from Sunnyvale to SFO - rates are crazy
This Wednesday I’m flying to Baltimore. I called to reserve a ride from Sunnyvale to SFO.
Here is the cost structure apparently:
-$75 base fee
-$10 early morning fee
-$? airport fee (I forgot)
-$? tip (variable)
If I’m not mistaken, this 30 mile ride to SFO airport on Wednesday morning will be ~$100 dollars.
Something is terribly broken about this. Sadly its more expensive than New York - which further goes to show how expensive it is to live in the Bay Area.

And yet, still cheaper than driving: I flew out of SFO last week, driving up from here in San Jose. When I got back, I was shocked to discover that a week’s parking charges in the SFO long-term lot was $115. The same week in Baltimore would cost about $40.

Depending on what time you’re flying out, you could try Caltrain… bwahahahaha

Well fortunately, this is a business trip - so MSFT is footing the bill. But still as a shareholder, I’m a bit offended by this expense.

I always take Caltrain. It’s really easy, and only takes like 10 minutes more than driving yourself (though taking a car service would be even faster).

It is much cheaper to park outside the airport with parking services such as Park SFO or some others. It costs abt 11 dollars a day and is pretty convenient.

Hey??? Sunnyvale to sfo why dont you call yellow airport cab,at 408-747-7110 they have no extra fee if you are paying cash,They charge 75$ flat if you pay cash,else 85$ if you pay by credit card.They charge no airport fees,no early morning fees…they are the best in sunnyvale

Are you going to SFO SJC OAK airport call 650-366-9999 or 408-577-1234 from Sunnyvale,Mountain view,cupertino,los altos,Palo alto,Redwood City,Santa clara,Los Gatos,Monte Sereno ? and you need Yellow airport taxi cab services to any of these airport this is the best number that i provide you! they are the best
