Yahoo Mash - I like the "this is fugly" link
I’ve been trying Yahoo Mash for a bit today. Pretty interesting. So far, I’m still really amused at the link that says “this is fugly”. When you click it, it strips most of the formatting away from the page you’re viewing, in case the designer decided to MySpace over decorate it with hard to read fonts and colors.
Personally I think the Mash Pet is a bit peculiar.
The biggest difference I’ve seen is that you are able to edit other people’s pages - I can load modules into my page - and other people’s pages. For example, I just added an Asteroids game to my page, and my friend Dave’s page (doesn’t work well with some background colors.) I’ve also just added a Karl Marx Paddleball game to both our pages.
I’m not quite sure how I feel about this yet.
