At home from the flu shot…
I got the Flu Shot free at work yesterday, and this morning I simply could not go to work. One of the potential side effects is aches, and aches I have indeed!
I also made a critical mistake yesterday, of getting the flu shot on my right arm - not the best idea since I’m right handed.
That said, every time I get the flu shot, I remember the time they offered the needle free flu shot at work. The idea was that the vaccine would be pushed into your body by a high pressure gas - with a cool Star Trek like side effect. Since this was cool new technology, I absolutely went for it.
Can’t… resist… new… technology…
BAM! Wow. It hurt. It was like getting a dead arm punch… without the benefit of the dead arm!
I wonder if a bunch of people complained, as they never again offered it at work.
