A parking ticket from LA - when parked in South San Francisco

Today my wife received a parking ticket… from the City of Los Angeles.

It’s claimed that her car was parked at 14201 Dickens St on a Tuesday morning in a “No Park/Street Clean” [sic].

As you can imagine, this is mighty peculiar since the car was at work, in South San Francisco.

This is already turning out to be an interesting year…

You are not alone! I got one in the mail today myself. Hard to believe I received a parking ticket in L.A. when I can’t even remember the last time I drove through that area let alone parked my car there. I live in the central valley, miles away from L.A. Mine was “no stop/stand pm”. It was a different street than the one you mention however.

They must have some glitch in their system. I will be on the phone tomorrow giving them a call. Believe me…
